Statement & Bio

Artist Statement:

I create images about human ecology; specifically looking at how human interactions are transforming in the wake of technological acceleration, poisoned landscapes, and group conflict. My photography utilizes unearthly colors and digitally collaged images to communicate the artificial state that humans have entered. This un-natural existence is visualized by human made locations, extensive political unrest, and scenes of social isolation. Photography is a meditative process that allows me to document the world that I live in, and find a better understanding of it.
